Ok what do the following bands have in common: Stranded Sullivan, viagra sales sildenafil Greenriver Thrillers, buy cialis doctor New Drugs, Zariah, Mike Biskup, Hemlock Pop, Day Laborers & Petty Intellectuals and Brad Westmoreland?
These are all projects that were recorded in other studios and mixed at Earwig.
In the last 6 months, I have been doing more and more mixing for projects that were recorded in other studios and practice spaces. Mixing is my favorite part of the recording process! The soundcloud clip above is a good example of my work as a mix engineer. I met Brandon Krebs when he was playing bass for New Drugs. He liked the vibe of Earwig and we really clicked during the New Drugs sessions. Before meeting me, he had already spent the better part of a year recording tracks for his own solo project, Stranded Sullivan. He decided to give me a shot at mixing the song “Arms of Reassurance”. He liked it so much that he asked me finish the record!
I have personally spent countless hours recording my own bands. I completely understand how important each song is to a musician. And I also know how hard it is to get the right mix. The bottom line is that I know how to mix and I don’t charge a lot to do it:)
